G3223Q, HDMI signal lost when I switch source
Hi all,
I have my pc and ps5 connected to my new G3223Q monitor. When I switch the source to the ps5, no problem. But when I switch back to the PC source, no signal is detected. I have to unplug and replug my cable to get the signal from the PC. It's very annoying. Please don’t tell me to disconnect/change cable or hard reset monitor, I have already tried and nothing changed.

I found the reason! It's because of the smart HDR. Disable this option and there will be no more signal problem

We can infer that that the G3223Q HDMI in is connected to the PC HDMI out. But what PC operating system? What PC video card?
How is the G3223Q connected to the PS5? Using which ports and cable?

Nope, not working for me. I have Smart HDR disabled all the time and still my monitor doesn't recognize PS4 signal unless I switch to PIP/PBP or turn off pc and restart PS4 which must be the only source.

Same issue here (Win11, 3080Ti). What I did to circumvent (not fix) the problem on Windows is writing a powershell script that sets the refresh to 60Hz and then back to 144Hz again. Somehow this triggers the signal detection by the monitor. I have created a keyboard shortcut for this script, so whenever the monitor is giving me "no signal" on my windows machine, I press the keyboard shortcut and the monitor starts picking up the signal.

Hi Thomas, mind sharing the script?
