G3223Q, HDR not supported?

Hi,

I just recently purchased a Dell G3223Q which states it is HDR600 capable. But when I tried to turn it on in the settings, it says HDR isn't supported. I tried running DxDiag and it says it isn't supported either.

Yes, I already did all of that. I found out the problem, I enabled 10 bit color on AMD Adrenalin which caused HDR to be disabled.

We can see from the online G3223Q User's Guide that HDR is supported. The G3223Q Menu- Display also has the the Smart HDR function =

Also page 63 in the same User's Guide =

But the PC, graphics card, and graphics driver have to also support HDR. So you need to post back with the PC model, graphics card model, and operating system.

Hi Chris,

I have a Z790 Aorus Elite AX motherboard, XFX 7900 XTX, i5 13600k, and Windows 11 Pro.

Im pretty sure my pc is capable of running HDR. I also updated to the latest driver and firmware

Per the User's Guide "HDR problems", are you connecting to the XFX 7900 XTX using the provided HDMI 1.0 M cable?

I do not see "Brightness & color" in your picture?

Windows 11
* Open Settings
* Open System
* Open Display
* Under Brightness & color, click HDR and turn on Use HDR
