G3223Q, yellow tint, bright spot

Received the monitor a couple of days ago. Same issues as described in other posts - yellowish tint (I had two 27 in chUltraSharp, I replaced one with the G3223Q, so it is being compared to the U2720QE next to it), blacking out during gaming (seems like G-Sync is the culprit). Also, there appears to be a screen defect (not quite a dead pixel but a larger piece of excessively bright spot visible in white background). Also, not nearly as bright as the U2720QE. Called customer service, factory reset helped a bit with the yellow tint, not the rest. The monitor has the latest firmware, M3T103, runs off RTX4090 Strix with the latest Nvidia driver, through a DisplayPort connection (cable from the G3223Q box). Dell is sending me a replacement screen (remarkably responsive customer service!), hopefully a better one. Other than that, I really want to like this screen :). I have had Dell monitors at both work and at home for as long as I can remember.

Just got my monitor today. Set it up and also noticed a yellow tint. I don't have an Nvidia graphics card and am just on intel integrated graphics.

In case anyone else stumbles across this post. Eventually ended up returning the original monitor as well as the replacement. Couldn't quite get past the issues with G-Sync. Replaced with another brand which happens to use pretty much the same panel. Has more options to tweak the settings, so got it to a better state in terms of colors, hue, etc. Also had the G-Sync issues (namely, blacking out during gameplay mostly when using a DisplayPort connection). One way to work around this is to set the "Power Management Mode" in NVCP to "Prefer Maximum Performance" - I wish I came across this before returning the Dell monitors. HDMI seems to work just fine on the different band monitor (and I tested a whole bunch of different DisplayPort and HDMI cables). I do think it is a driver issue but nothing I can do on my end for this. So, for anyone reading this, in case you run into similar G-Sync issues with your Dell G3223Q especially when using DisplayPort, try changing the NVCP option before opting for returning the monitor.

Can confirm major Yellow tint issues in June 2024. No G-Sync compatibility either.
