Getting Replacement for 2407WFP
Hello all,
I bought a 2407 back in January, just before the Rev A04 came out, and am looking to get a replacement to the A04 sometime due to the fact that it cannot display 1600x1200 in proper 1:1 aspect. However, I have 0 dead pixels (from what I've seen, and I'm AMAZED!), and don't want to ship it off to get a replacement monitor that has quite a few dead ones. Anyone know if dell has any policies regarding iif you swap your monitor for a new replacement to fix a probelm and it comes back with more dead pixels?
I just can't stand dead pixels...

also this Dell Knowledgebase article on stuck pixels which says:
'A display with 1 to 5 fixed pixels is within the industry standards, and is therefore considered an acceptable display.'
The standard (ISO 13406-2)is much more complicated. You can find a good description and discussion here: ISO Standard: What It Actually Says
