Help on 2405 audio output

Question

Hi, Folks   Is there anyone who use adapter to convert audio from digital box to pc speakers? Right now I have 2405 and digital box in hand. Not sure if I should buy another sound card or RCA to Mono adapter. If adapter works well, I prefer it because I already had one sound card. Or any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean by 'digital box', but I assume it has stereo L and R RCA outputs. You can connect these to the line input of your sound card with the appropriate adapter or patch lead (two RCA to one stereo 3.5mm mini-jack) - something like this.

You do know that the 2405 does not have built-in speakers, right?  Dell sells (or used to sell) two soundbar speaker kits which would attach below the screen.
