InfinityEdge monitors, backlight bleeding, shadows

The Dell InfinityEdge borderless monitors may appear to have backlight bleeding or blurred shadows around the edges.

The following S2419HM, U2417H, U2419H/HX, U2518D, U2717D, U2717D/DA, S2718D, U2718Q, U2719D/DX, S2719DM models may be affected, as well as other Dell monitors with the InfinityEdge design.

This can occur due to the borderless design of these Dell monitors and is working as designed. The blurred edges should only be visible when there is no task bar at the bottom. During standard usage, you should not experience the blurred edges or shadows.
