LCD Conditioning
This is a really dumb question but I can't find the answer on Google so forgive me.
I own a 2017 Alienware monitor and 2021 Dell curved gaming monitor. I did not realize LCD conditioning even existed until recently but the 2017 model now looks like it did when it came out of the box.
My question is, am I shortening the life of the monitor by using it, or are there any other downsides to using LCD conditioning?
Thank you.

I have never heard of the LCD conditioning shortening the life of a panel. It simply exercises the pixels by displaying full colored screens in hope of reducing minor cases of image retention. You have to manually turn it on and off in the Menu OSD.
