Monitor power button stuck "on."

Dell 1708FP Monitor power button is on and will power down when the compute is turned off, but I'm unable to turn the power off. The button is stuck. How do I get it unstuck so I can turn it off. I am now having to unplug it and it comes back on when I replug it.

Is the button stuck under the bezel?

Not sure what the bezel is, but the button is almost flush with the surface instead of protruding like the other (- +) keys. It has no give to it to push in.

There should be a little give. It sounds defective to me. We do not have monitor parts, all we do is exchange the whole thing while under warranty.

There is no give and I can run my fingernail all the way around it. It's like the spring is broken. I don't guess Dell would do anything about it since the warranty expired in May (2 months ago!)

I must have done something that showed this answered. My last question hasn't been answered. I need to know if Dell will do anything with the warranty out May 2, 2010 (2 months ago!)
