My new S2440L confront blackout problem

Question

I just buy S2440L for replace my old S2340L. With S2340L, i was never have blackout problem but when i was plug new S2440L, it was goes black for few second. The problem was randomly around 10 minute to 40 minute. These two monitor was on same HDMI cable(and work fine on my SmartTV too), same PC and same Graphic card driver. i have try to re-install fresh driver but still have problem. Is this might be hardware relate? maybe S2440L have some hardware problem or S2440L need more specific HDMI cable? Now, i just settle problem with my S2440L. the black out was occur when circuit behind monitor overheat. i was look around about overheat on HDMI port by googling and found that HDMI might fail if circuit( HDMI amplifier ) was overheat (i'm not have overheat issue on my old S2340L (rev.A00). i pretty sure that S2440L (mine is rev.A01) have hardware issue on HDMI and circuit overhear(lower part of monitor have very high temperature). i hope you, Dell will take this as your responsibility that your monitor, S2440L have overheat/high temperature issue and might be cause black out on HDMI port. it's bad for me to avoid this problem by using VGA port.

i just touch it on surface.. lower border compare to upper border, it's really hot.

maybe only my S2440L have this issue..

Today, i was remove my VGA card and all power cord and reinstall all part agian, the black out problem seem not often like it have been before. it's just a time or two for this day.

In fact i was feel very well with this monitor both design, and image, but still nervous about high temperature, it's might be major problem in long term.

maybe i was too soon to conclude everything..and HDMI is very sensitive case like i said in previous comment, then i have some test for my S2440L

- overclock my VGA card's power grid around 2% and remove some fan from my system.

- find new place for power adapter to avoid heat. (i was found that LG IPS monitor use 19V 1.3A adaptor this might be)

note: i use Seasonic 750W and power on 5V and 12V is quite good (5.1V and 12.05V).

Ok, now i need to close this thread as Solved and and report this issue as power supply issue; in major relate.

ChozeriZes, Just because one S2440L that has this issue does not mean that all S2440L have the issue. How are you testing the temperature?
