OSD locked to input sources - U2713HM
I cannot seem to get the OSD to show anything other than "input sources" regardless of a source connected or not. Is there a way to force a factory reset or force the full OSD to appear?
Thanks,
Josh

How long were you using this monitor before this issue started? How was the monitor connected to the computer using what ports and cabling?
* Turn the monitor off
* Disconnect the monitor power cable and all other cables from the rear/bottom/side of the monitor
* If a mechanical monitor power button, press the button in for 30 seconds (clears any residual power in the circuits). If not a mechanical power button, just wait for 30 seconds
* Reconnect all cabling and retest

I've been using the monitor for 3 years. Connected to personal laptop via HDMI and to work laptop via VGA. I would then switch input sources based on what I wished to use at the time. Issues started recently while connected to personal laptop (Ubuntu 14.04). Monitor seems stuck in power save mode and no OSD.
Unplugging power (and all other connections) for 30+ seconds had no impact. I will leave power disconnected all day today and try again tonight. I will also check VGA tonight to see if it will come out of power save.
Thanks,
Josh

If still not working tonight and still inside the 3 year warranty, get it exchanged. If not, replace it.

Interesting. OSD works in VGA (Windows 8.1), but still goes into power save when connected to HDMI on Ubuntu laptop. I will try another HDMI source, but now suspect this is an issue with the laptop/ubuntu, though I don't like that I have to have what the monitor deems an appropriate source to show the normal OSD menu. Anyway, thanks for you help. If/When I get it sorted out, I'll post a response, in case someone hits something like this in the future. Cheers!
