P2425E is bad at aspect ratio
Dell P2425E
Firmware Version - МЗВ101
---
I could have loved P2425E as an often documenting (macOS) and occasional gaming tool (Nintendo Switch). But I could only get a stretched Switch image.
But I'm shocked that I cannot have a 16:9 aspect ratio while Dell gives me the 4:3 and 5:4 besides the default 16:10. Why it's not 16:9 supported for this year-25 lined product?
I sincerely hope that a firmware upgrade could save my life. =(

Aspect Ratio 16:9 was provided on the P2425HE 1920x1080. So no, they will not add it to the P2425E 1920x1200.
The Monitor sales page Filters allowed you to choose =
Aspect Ratio
16:9
16:10
21:9
32:9
Choosing 16:10 =
$299 P2425 1920x1200
$359 P2425E 1920x1200
Choosing 16:9 =
$184 P2425H 1920x1080
$249 P2425HE 1920x1080

@DELL-Chris M you meant that P2425E is a product with 16:10 hardware monitor aspect ratio, appreciate.
But P2425E also provides options like 4:3 and 5:4 through the on-screen display menu, as a firmware solution. I mean in this way I'm shocked that I cannot have the (most mainstream) 16:9 option to choose. Lots of non-16:9 monitors provide that 16:9 option, or a "pixel-by-pixel" option, to avoid image gets stupidly stretched.
So I just hope that a future firmware upgrade could add that 16:9 option in. I hope it's not something technically unfeasible.
