S2716DG, randomly sleeping

Hi,

I've had my S2716DG for a year and a half now. But it is now randomly deep sleeping even if I'm actively using it. Disabling sleep on the S2716DG didn't appear to help and unplugging the S2716DG and plugging it back in only brings it back for a few minutes before it goes black again. I tried switching from DP to HDMI, however, that didn't resolve the issue. When plugging in other monitors, I don't see any issues so I don't think it is a source issue. I also tested by changing the source to another laptop it was having the same sleep issues. I'm not sure if there are any other factors which can be causing this and any help is appreciated.

Thanks

* For my notes, click my DELL-name and private message me the S2716DG service tag number and 20 digit alphanumeric serial number so I can check its warranty status
* From whom and when did you purchase this S2716DG? If not purchased directly from Dell, you have to transfer it into your name
* To what Nvidia video cards are you testing on this Nvidia G-Sync monitor?
* Anytime you turn the S2716DG off via its power button, you must re-enter the OSD Menu and Disable Monitor Deep Sleep

Thanks for taking the time:

I bought this from Dell in Nov 2017.

This was tested on a ASUS ROG GTX 1080, I also tested this on my Inspiron 5000 laptop.

When I turn off the monitor via the power button and return to the OSD Menu, the monitor's deep sleep setting is still under "Disable", should I be toggling this to On and back Off?

Thanks again for the assistance.

Should I be toggling this to On and back Off?
* You should not have to do this but worth testing it.

* Be sure to test the S2716DG on all of the GTX 1080 full size DP out ports using the supplied DP to DP cable.
