S2716DG, Service Menu appears
OK here's a pickle! My Monitor keeps going into self test mode It when ever I put my system to sleep it is a (S2716DG) I have already run support assist I checked for updates & drivers and all I can say is . I am running a Alienware R2 with a GTX 1060 6GB DP/HDMI/HDMI using the DP and USB hub connected to a Alienware keyboard. Power plan is balanced PCI-e Link State unknown line out port connected to dell speakers. no resolution listed. Ordered from Amazonmonitor pwr on no display hooked up

Unfortunately, this is the negative of buying from a reseller and not directly from Dell. Someone went into the Dell internal Service Menu and enabled "Burn In Pattern" and "Factory Menu". Those should be disabled by removing the checks. Do not make any other changes in that Service Menu. You could possibly break the S2716DG which would not be covered by Dell. You should also transfer the ownership of the service tag number into your name.
