S2718D, USB Type-C connection not working
Hi there,
I have a S2718D monitor. Since I bought it, it has been having a connectivity issue via USB Type-C to display on the monitor (No USB Type-C Signal Detected). Every now and then I need to plug and unplug it on a Lenovo X1 7th gen + Windows 10. Now, I have lost the cable and I bought a USB Type-C data transfer cable (USB C 3.1, supports up to 4k 144Hz) and have since updated my computer to Windows 11. It doesn't seem to work. Not sure why. Would be great to get some help
Thanks,
Nick

Click the blue DELL-Cares username. Their profile page will appear. On the right click, "Send this user a private message". They will need the private monitor Service Tag and 20 digit serial number. Or you can click the red, "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session.

Link to the specific 3rd party USB Type-C cable that you bought.
The S2718D shipped with the following USB Type-C cable =
9H8JN USB Type-C to C Gen 1, 1.8m/5.9ft, 100W, 5A, DP Alt Mode cable
