S2721DGFA, dimming, fuzzy text

Hi,

I have owned a Dell S2721DGFA monitor for about a month now and I have searched everywhere trying to fix this issue with no luck. The issue im having which happens about 90% of the time is when viewing something darker on my monitor such as a application in dark mode or a webpage that is using a darker theme, the monitor will noticeably dim. Not a subtle slight shift but a significant darkening. It makes applications and webpages look awful, on top of this it makes text go kind of bold and really fuzzy on the edges. If I resize my application or window so there is something brighter in the background like my desktop wallpaper it corrects itself?

There are times I have noticed usually during the day were this problem just disappears and stops happening on the exact same webpage or application it was happening before? I checked all kinds of settings, night mode, reinstalled graphics drivers etc but still none the wiser. Showing the darkening is hard as I don't have a camera good enough to pick it up but I can kind of show the fuzzy text if you resize the images it's alot easier to see. Will post pictures and my pc specs below.

Fuzzy text (note in the picture it looks really suttle because my camera is bad but to the eye you see the text shift and go fuzzy as the screen darkens)
