S2721QS, Mac mini M2, resolution issue

Question

Bought this 4K monitor for use with the Mac mini M2. Problem is with resolution. When I initially set the resolution in the Mac Control Center, when the Mac mini M2 goes to sleep it 'loses track' of this S2721QS and goes to a default lower resolution. Can't change. Found the only way to 'solve' is to restart the Mac mini M2, and then it detects correctly the S2721QS and the resolution I wish to use.Talked to a Dell support person and she advised downloading the Dell DDPM driver/app. Did that, but I can't get the app to run on the Mac mini M2. Launching it does nothing. I read somewhere on Dell support site that you need to connect monitor to computer via USB. This S2721QS only has an HDMI connection. So not sure what to do? Apparently I can perform another work around by turning off the S2721QS when I'm done working, and even if the Mac mini M2 falls asleep when I wake the computer and turn on the S2721QS all is still well. This is a lousy workaround. Ideas? Thanks.

M Solomon,Unfortunately, there are no macOS drivers for this S series monitor.None of the Dell D, E, G, P, S, SE, Alienware monitors have Apple macOS support from Dell.FAQ Dell monitor and Apple The online S2721QS drivers page only shows Windows OS.
