S2722DZ, cables
I just received a new S2722DZ monitor. It comes with a USB-C cable but also references other USB cables for upstream and downstream. What are the specs for the other USB cables that can be used with this monitor?

I just received a new S2722DZ monitor. It comes with a USB-C cable but also references other USB cables for upstream and downstream. What are the specs for the other USB cables that can be used with this monitor?

The online S2722DZ User's Guide shows the two shipped cables =
When connecting a PC HDMI out port --> 3rd party HDMI to HDMI cable --> S2722DZ #3 HDMI in port
-or-
When connecting a PC DP out port --> 3rd party DP to DP cable --> S2722DZ #4 DP in port
To turn on the #7 USB-A downstream port and #8 USB-A downstream port, you must ALSO connect the provided USB-C to USB-C cable from the S2722DZ #5 USB-C port to the PC USB-C port.
If your PC does not have a USB-C port, then you cannot use the two USB-A downstream ports.

You do not need any other cables. Since you have done this = Then I connected the USB-C cable from the monitor to the PC
The two #7/#8 USB-A ports on the S2722DZ should be active and seen in the PC operating system. To check this, take any USB-A mouse and plug it into the #7/#8 USB-A ports on the S2722DZ.

@DELL-Chris M Thank you for the reply. I have connected the monitor to the PC using a Display Port cable. No issues here. Then I connected the USB C cable from the monitor to the PC. Oce again, no issues. I now want to use the other 2 USB ports on the monitor. Can I just buy regular UBS cables , type A gen 3.0 cables for those connections?
