S2722DZ, macOS, Webcam, Audio not working

I purchased this monitor believing it worked with Apple MacBooks. While I can see the screen, I cannot figure out how to get the Audio and built-in webcam to work. I called Dell and got no answers. The tech person had the nerve to say they are unfamiliar with Apple Mac interface. Yet their marketing fails to state it does not work with it. Can’t Dell give their tech support a few Apples? Has anyone figure out how to make this monitor work with MacBook using Catalina?

Thanks in advance

* The agent is simply going off of the information shown on the online S2722DZ drivers page. It only shows Windows OS drivers as being tested by Dell
* Read through the Pinned post at the top of this monitors Forum, "Dell monitor, Apple FAQ"
* Online S2722DZ User's Guide
* If connected to a PC via the HDMI 1.4 or DP 1.2, the USB Type-C to C upstream cable must also be connecting to the PC to use the built-in webcam, microphone, and USB 3.2 downstream ports. If the PC does not have a USB Type-C port, you will need to purchase a USB Type-C to USB Type-A conversion cable to also connect between the S2722DZ and PC
