S2722QC, firmware update issue

I have tried figuring out a way to update the firmware as per instructions from my Dell folder. The monitor is connected via HDMI but the Firmware Update Utility doesn't detect the monitor this way, I have to connect the USB-C cable that came with the monitor for it to work. I have tried with only USB C to C and without HDMI but there's no signal even if I change the input source, so the only way is with HDMI as video source and the USB-C cable connected to my computer.

However, the confusing part is that the Update Utility shows current firmware as M3B201, and the new one as M3B102 (also listed on the Dell driver page) but there's a warning message below: "You are updating an older version of firmware package. Please confirm you want to do so."

Does that mean the firmware I'm installing which is supposed to be newer, is actually older that the current one installed? If so, why does it appear as the newest one on Dell's website and not the M3B201?

Please let me know on how should I proceed further and if the way I'm updating the firmware is correct. Thank you!

By the way, I bought the monitor on March 10th this year from Amazon, if that is of any help.

"You are updating an older version of firmware package."

That message is telling us that M3B102 must be older than M3B201. Do not install the older M3B102 on top of newer M3B201.

M3B201 is currently only installed at the Service Center and not available on the drivers page.
