S2722QC, Mac Mini, DDPM not supported
I am trying to get DDPM working with my Mac Mini. One issue appears to be that there are no firmware updates for Mac OS. I have installed the DDPM software but there is an exclamation mark saying please connect a supported dell monitor. I have the Mac Mini connected using a USB C lead.

Your findings are correct.
None of the S series monitors are tested/validated with macOS DDPM.
The online S2722QC drivers page also shows only Windows operating systems.
