S3219D, ticking noise every second
I got a new Dell S3219D in December 2019. Starting June 2020, I started to hear a faint ticking noise. At first I thought it came from my Mac Mini. After more careful investigation I am now certain this ticking comes from the S3219D. It comes at an exact one tick per second pace, curiously.
Nothing seems to fix this. I tried resetting and disabling the speaker of the S3219D. I also plugged this S3219D directly to the wall and bypassed any surge protector. Because I listen to streamed classical music at my desk, this tick is just loud enough and can't be ignored.
Any help will be appreciated.

There is no "SEND" button when I tried to reply the private message. What's the problem?
Update October 27, 2020 = DELL-Cares agent setup service to exchange the S3219D.

I'm having this exact issue, is there any solution other than sending it in?

Hi: I tried just about everything, except opening it, and nothing worked. To be fair Dell people did try to help on line but couldn't resolve it. Luckily my monitor was days before the warrantee expiration and Dell sent me a replacement. I am afraid there's probably not much you can do at home.
