S3220DGF, Nvidia G-Sync cause black screen

I have a problem with this S3220DGF monitor. If I enable Nvidia G-Sync (GTX 1080 Ti) the screen frequently turns black. It turns back on for a few seconds and goes back to black as if it lost the signal and I am forced to disable it. I tried 3 different cables. I have ordered a high quality DP1.4, but the problem occurred immediately.

I have stopped the blackouts completely by making a custom resolution at 144hz for my GTX 1080. Go into the Nvidia Control Panel and set a "custom resolution" at 144hz (make sure you have the latest driver for both the card and monitor). Then you will go into the Windows setup for the S3220DGF and 144hz will be available to select. The S3220DGF can handle that resolution just fine, it only chokes up the GeForce when you leave it at the default 165hz that this amazing monitor can blast.

There appears to be some confusion about the S3220DGF and what it supports. So I will try to explain.

* Go back to the top of this Monitors Forum
* Open FAQ Monitor
* Open, Policy: Dell AMD FreeSync monitors and Nvidia video cards (2/3/2019)

* The S3220DGF was marketed as an AMD FreeSync 2 monitor =

* The S3220DGF User's Guide mentions AMD FreeSync 14 times =

I know these things very well, but nvidia has also supported freesync for some time, they always call it g-sync, but this is not the point, knowing that compatibility is not assured I have documented myself before, reading testimonials in the forums and tests in specialized sites where have reviewed this monitor, this has led me to buy it, and everyone says that they have enabled g-sync without any problem, in reality even with disabled freesync it happened to me much less frequently (maybe only once or twice in a day) that the monitor went black for 1 second and then went back to work, before this monitor I was already using freesync with a monitor that was not always recognized as 100% compatible in the driver and I never had this problem, the PC did not change and the problem l 'started to do from the first day, I tried to replace the DP cable with a high quality 1.4, with higher specifications but nothing has changed, I also tried the various DP ports of the video card but nothing has changed, I would just like to understand if other users also have this problem or if only me, if it were so it means that this screen has a defect.
