Soundbar
I have an as501 soundbar on my 2007fp monitor bottom but would like to use it on a u2412m monitor that I don't have yet. It has 2 wires and the new monitor has an audio port but there is another soundbar for it; the ay511 but it is powered by a power supply and doesn't use the audio port in the new u2412m monitior. Does anyone know what gives here and can I use my old soundbar speaker on the the new monitor?

Both the 2007FP and the U2412M have the DC power connector for a Dell Soundbar on the bottom. So yes, the AS501 will work on the U2412M.
