SP2008WFP Webcam Not Working At All
I've got a Dell Dimension 8200 from 2002 running Windows XP. It's a 2.52 GHz Machine with 512MB of Ram. I've got the latest updates from Windows Installed. The Display works great! I love it. But I can't get the webcam to work at all. I have an Adaptec DuoConnect 3020 PCI card that has both Firewire and USB 2.0 connections. When I connect the USB cable from the monitor, I'm asked to install drivers for Adaptec USB Support for USB Hub. I point it to the drivers for the DuoConnect. I'm then asked about Adaptec USB Composite Device Support and again I point it to the drivers for the DuoConnect. Then it asks for the drivers to the Monitor Integrated Webcam, USB Imaging Device, and USB Audio Device. I've tried the CD shipped with the monitor, the downloads from Dell's site, and even Windows Update (It found an updated Creative driver), but I get the same results every time.
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
I've uninstalled, reinstalled, plugged the usb cable into a different usb port, but nothing, although it looks like the USB Audio Device works. Anyone have any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated! The integrated webcam is part of why I purchased this monitor.
Thanks, Joe
