ST2220T, 6-Bit or 8-Bit panel?
Hi Chris M,
With regards to Colour Depth, I would like to know if the panel, in the Dell ST2220T monitor, uses an 8-bit DAC or a 6-bit DAC + A-FRC.
Also, what is the Model Number of the LG panel used in this monitor?

I just got an email this morning, the ST2220T is 6bit + A-FRC. LG LM215WF5 SLA1. Sorry for the confusion.

It's 16.7M so it is 8bit. I do not know the specific panel.

Hi Chris,
I know the Monitor can display 16.7M colours but does the panel use an 8-bit DAC to achieve this or does it use a 6-bit DAC with Dithering (A-FRC: Advanced Frame Rate Control)?
I, and others with bad or very strained eyes, would love to know whether this monitor uses Dithering to achieve its colour depth.
