ST2310 Will not stretch edge to edge

I cannot get my ST2310 to stretch edge to edge.  On other monitors there was a means to stretch to the edge but I cannot find it on this modle.

Did you do this while using HDMI?
* Open the ATI Catalyst Control Center, under DTV (HDMI) 3 Scaling Options, Select 0% and Apply

Open the monitor OSD (On Screen Display) -Display Settings- Wide Mode. You have two choices, Fill and 4:3.

I found the solution.  I dont quite understand why when using hdmi I loose the use of nearly an inch along the border.  I pluged in the dvi cable and recovered all that I lost.  Is there an explaination for this?:emotion-15:

NO, sorry that is what it is set at currently.  Changed to 4.3 and it was much smaller.  changed it back with the same result.  I get a whopping 21 inches from my brand new 23 inch monitor.  I paid ro realestate to work.

It is not a monitor problem, it is a video card driver setting.
* Open the Intel Graphics Properties, click Display Settings, click Full Screen

* Open the ATI Catalyst Control Center, under DTV (HDMI) 3 Scaling Options, Select 0% and Apply

* Open the Nvidia Control Panel- Adjust desktop size and position, try all 4 choices until you find the one that fills the screen, click Apply

I have a generic cable, a ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB, not sure about the drivers.  I am fairly sure thaty are the latest.

I have exactly the same problem but I can't find this option in the ATI Catalyst Control Centre.  I've only got the HDMI cable plugged in.

I get it by right-clicking on the desktop - it#s the first menu option.  If you don't see that then you may have a different video card.
