U2410, Windows 10, PSM issue, Intel GPU drivers
Hello,
My U2410 enters PSM (Power Save Mode) and then back to blue power LED constantly. The issue occurs when the U2410 is connected to a system running Windows 10 and the DP connector of the U2410 is used. I found an article which explains the issue very well. What I don't understand is that this behavior does not occur when I use Intel display driver 23.20.16.4973, but occurs with every other Intel display driver. The 23.20.16.4973 Intel display driver is the one my computer automatically downloads from Windows update. Also, the link states there is no Windows 10 driver but Windows 10 device manager downloads a U2410 driver.
Specifications:
G4560 processor
Z270N Gaming 5 motherboard
8GB DDR4

We can see here that the U2410 was only validated for Windows XP/Vista/7/8. Windows 10 is installing its embedded generic PNP monitor driver.

You should save the working Intel driver to a folder of its own in case Microsoft tries to force a newer non-working driver.

Thanks for prompt reply.
How do I save the working Intel driver to a folder?
It doesn't appear that Windows 10 is installing its embedded generic PNP monitor driver because I've seen device manager download the driver when I clicked on update driver. Please see:

You are going to have search in the Windows\System32 folder for the U2410 INF file. Then save it to an external drive. But that U2410 INF file has nothing to do with the GPU Intel driver. You need to save this location.
