U2415, USB port usage
"the monitor USB downstream ports on the bottom/side could be used for keyboard and mouse. But, I prefer to have them plugged directly into the computers USB ports which speeds up the computer boot process"
Please tell me how do I use the USB downstream ports for keyboard and mouse, even if it slows down some processes? If I just plug keyboard and mouse to the monitor USB downstream ports, nothing happens. I tried all of them, including the port with the lightning icon.

The U2415 USB 3.0 upstream cable must first be connected to a PC USB port. Once done, the U2415 four USB 3.0 downstream ports will function in the PC operating system. See the U2415 User's Guide, pages 6, 9, 11, 23, 30.
