U2417H, Computer does not have DP or HDMI out?
Hello: I purchased same U2417H Monitor, for my hp pavilion h8xt. BUT there are no HDMI (nor dp) ports only USB and USB 3.0 (usb ss) on the hp pavilion. On the monitor, the input source selector does not list USB 3.0. Do you know of any trick to make a connection between USB 3.0 and monitor or do I have to return monitor. (For example, could I buy an adapter to convert USB to HDMI so connection to monitor is possible??) . Any help appreciated

The easiest solution is to simply install a video card that has DP (DisplayPort) out port or HDMI out port. You would have to check the HP manual to see what video card slot is on the motherboard.
Or you can use a USB 3.0/3.1 to HDMI converter or USB 3.0/3.1 to DP converter and the DisplayLink software.
