U2417H, display messages

Hello,

I just recently purchased a Dell U2417H monitor and I have a question. Is there anyway to disable the VERY annoying messages that pop up every time I startup the monitor and my computer?

They are in this order every time:
1. Scanning for signal
2.No DP signal from device
2. Entering Power Saver Mode
4. DP Input

These messages pop up on the screen every single time I turn on the monitor to start a new session. It's extremely annoying to me.

Thank you!

* What is the U2417H non-private 20 digit serial number?
* Did you purchase this U2417H directly from Dell? If not, then from where?
* What PC model?
* What operating system is running on the PC?
* What PC GPU/video card?
* How is the U2417H connected to the PC GPU/video card using what ports and cable?

When reviewing the online U2417H User's Guide page 35, the Menu OSD does not give you any options to disable the on screen messages. But since it was built on September 10, 2018, I would go ahead and enter the Menu, go Others. Choose Factory Reset.

Pages 45-46 show the OSD Warning Messages. Note the order, "Activate the computer and wake up the monitor".

* Dell cannot speak to Amazon marketing verbiage or how long they keep product in their warehouse

* This U2417H originally shipped from Dell on January 19, 2019
* The "manufacture date" embedded in the 20 digit serial number "CN-0XVNNT-WS200-89A-AHEL" translates to September 10, 2018

* The Dell monitors sales site for UltraSharp 24" does not list the U2417H

I don't know where the non-private serial number is.
There's a serial number on bottom back of monitor with 23 digits?
Purchased last week through Amazon..May 19th
Not on PC..on an Apple Mac Pro.
Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7
Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 Graphics Card
Connected to the Graphics card on Mac using it's Displayport
to the Dell Monitor using it's Displayport with a DP to DP cable

Can I get a simple answer?
Is what I'm reporting just the way the monitor functions or can those on screens messages be disabled?
That's all I'm trying to find out.

My monitor was built on Sept 2018? I was told that this was a new monitor when I bought it through Amazon? Are there stock of this model still being sold from three ago that are considered new?
Does Dell still make this model and can I get a new one direct from you?
