U2417H, no practical soundbar?
I have a U2417H InfinityEdge monitor that I desperately want to connect a soundbar to. I had one that fixed to the bottom of my old Dell monitors, but I was surprised to see that they would not attach to the U2417H. All good things must come to and end, I presume.
I contacted my Dell rep, who recommended (I assume incorrectly) the AE515 and AC511 Soundbar models. I have yet to un-box the AC511's, but the AE515's clearly do not attach anywhere to the U2417H. The accompanied bracket won't even fit the monitor stand. Side note: from an engineering POV, why even have multiple options on the stands? Even the Dell REPS don't know what works best with which models.
So now I have an AE515 sitting on my desk. It sounds great - but it looks ridiculous. Any suggestions or recommendations for resolving? I do not want standalone speakers but would prefer a soundbar. Why Dell can't make one that fits their monitors is a mystery.

If this U2417H was not purchased directly from Dell, you have to transfer it into your name
You should return the Soundbars for refund.
The online U2417H sales page does not show any pictures of it with an attached Soundbar. The sales page Accessories does not list a Soundbar.
The online U2417H User's Guide makes no mention of a Soundbar or Soundbar mounting brackets. Page 9 shows us that there are no Soundbar mounting brackets. Your only option is to connect standalone speakers to the Audio line-out port.
