U2417H vs P2419H
Is the two years old U2417H better than the newer P2419H? My mainly usage is graphic software and some games.

Here is a comparison of the two. Very similar. I would stay with the U2417H.

For the record, here's a quick comparison of U2427H and U2419H
Dimensions: Identical
Panel: 2417 uses Samsung PLS. 2419 used IPS (very similar systems, probably indistinguishable). Technical data - relating to visual quality - reads the same for each, except for response time, where 2417 is minimum 6ms, and 2419 is minimum 5ms, and the average is the same (8ms) in each.
Power consumption (average): 2417 is 19W. 2419 is 17W
Connectivity: Both have multiple USB 3.0, HDMI, DisplayPorts and audio out. Note, there's a DisplayPort 1.4 on the 2419, but a DisplayPort 1.2 on the 2417. For most people that may be irrelevant to their setup, but you might want to check out the differences, inc. adapter compatibility for legacy card outputs.
