U2419H, flickering around the edges, plus another problem

Greetings,

Like other users with the same problem pointed here and others on this forum, I've had the flickering problem around the edges on my Dell U2419H.

I've tried everything the other users have and nothing has helped.

The monitor was purchased from a retailer in my country.

It has also recently developed another problem. On the bottom edge of the screen on the two points near the the both corners of the screen the pixels have started to turn permanently white (white bleed over is the best I can describe it).
