Yes, as long as the PC video out ports are USB-C and DP. Any usage of HDMI, DVI, or VGA will not work with DP MST daisy chain.
#1 PC USB-C out port --> U2422HE USB-C to USB-C cable --> U2422HE #6 USB-C upstream port (video + data) (Menu- Display- MST on) U2422HE #7 DP out port --> U2422HE DP to DP cable --> U2422H #4 DP in port
#2 PC DP out port --> U2422H DP to DP cable --> U2422HE #4 DP in port (Menu- Display- MST on) U2422HE #7 DP out port --> retail DP to DP cable --> U2422H #4 DP in port U2422HE #8 USB-C upstream port (data only) --> U2422HE USB-C to USB-A cable --> U2422H USB-A downstream port
That's an unsupported setup, look for U2422HE issues on this forum (eg. here). Dell is supposedly on making this work (?), but that was over half a year ago and nothing has changed since then. Per the manual, KVM supports only two combinations:
HDMI + USB-C2 to computer 1 and DP + USB-C1 90W to computer 2
HDMI + USB-C2 to computer 1 and USB-C 90W to computer 2
So it's KVM or DP with daisy chain, using both at once makes the monitor confused.
You can search for "U2422HE" on this forum and see for yourself. What I wrote is based on my experience (with current firmware, i.e. M3B408) and backed by similar issues and other Dell employees' answers.
U4320Q daisy chained to U2422HE would allow for switching both screens at once, by issuing a single input switch command to U2422HE - i just installed DDM to test it and switching works (U2422HE + U2422H).
What doesn't work: U2422HE may get confused about active inputs and will show a "no signal" message when you switch it to USB-C input. Or will show image, but USB upstream will stay connected to the other device. I work around this by making sure that the last device to power off and the first to power on is always my laptop. But this is a workaround, not the way a properly working KVM should behave.
Finally, both monitors arrived so I´ve tested it and KVM works simultaneously with Daisychain (MKS). I can switch through monitor setup from DP (PC1) to USB-C (notebook) and back and always both monitor swich together as expected. True is, that from DP to USB-C it take few seconds (cca 5s) longer for "HE" monitor to catch signal, "H" (daisychained) switch immediately, but its not a problem from my point of view. Switching from USB-C to DP is almost instant.
Now I face anther problem. I have wireless keyboard and want to put usb-stick to monitor "HE", how should I connect USB (upstream) cables? To both PCs? Is it problem, if I have only USB3.1 in PC instead of USB3.2?
I had to assign DP to USB-C2 in monitor settings. Now everything works, switching monitors and also switching mouse and keybord. I noticed that "HE" FW is M3B405 = not the last one, but as long as it works, I won´t update
Yes, the combination should work as long as the U2422HE monitor supports daisy-chaining and the KVM switch supports multiple monitors. You may need to check the technical specifications of the monitor and KVM switch to confirm their compatibility with this setup. TOS76>

Hi piotrpr, now I am confused, Chris wrote above, that it will work. Based on this info I've already ordered these two monitors.
@DELL-Chris M how is it?

But for example this user are able to use KVM and Daisy chain in the same time
https://www.dell.com/community/Monitors/U4320Q-U2422HE-DDM-2-x-hotkeys-bound-to-mouse-cursor/td-p/8359487
U4320Q has no kvm so I expect that he use kvm in U2422HE. The solution with combination of hotkeys is good enough for me.
So I am still confused, someone has no or minor problems and by someone it doesn´t work at all?

Hi,
Would KVM and PBP / PIP work if I plug one laptop usb C to one screen and another laptop usb C to the other screen?
