U2713HM, not validated with DUCCS
Using xRite i1 Display Pro and using Dell UltraSharp Color Calibration Solution 1.0.0 software 2012. I'm unable to get the Monitor to be recognized via USB connection. I've tried all USB ports and cables including "USB 2 USB" and "USB 2 USB 3.0 Type B"
No Events found!

Also, just to verify that the U2713HM USB downstream ports are functional, once the USB upstream cable is connected to the computer, plug a USB mouse into each U2713HM USB downstream port (two side, two bottom).

The U2713HM is not designed to use the DUCCS (Dell UltraSharp Color Calibration Solution). DUCCS will only work with the following =
UP3216Q, UP3214Q, U3014, UP2716D, UP2715K, P2714H, U2713H, UP2516D, UP2414Q, U2413
Notice the U2713HM driver page does not list DUCCS.
You need to uninstall the DUCCS from the computer, reboot when done. Then try to use the retail X-Rite i1 Display Pro calibration software that came with the device.

Thanks for the update. I wrongly assumed that our monitor would work with the Dell Calibration Solution software. So it works with the "U2713H" but not the "U2713HM". We are one letter off! :( I also thought that it would be compatible due to the Preset Modes having a "Custom Color" option as I've used this before at other studios with other Dell monitors.. great to find out this updated information.
I will uninstall DUCCS and use the retail XRite i1 Display Pro Software. Thanks for the the reply... this information wasn't obvious for me and it's good for others to know the details as well.
