U2717D, flashing colors, #2
I am having this same issue. I tried your suggestion of turning off factory menu and burn-in pattern, and it will stop for a little while, but it starts up again shortly thereafter. It's been doing this for nearly two years and I'm so irritated by it to the point of just replacing it with another brand. Any suggestions?

Once the BurnIn mode issue starts, anytime the monitor is turned off, then on, you have to enter the FSM (Factory Service Menu) and disable BurnIn mode.
