U2718Q, Apple PC, firmware?
Hi,
Concerning this thread, I've just purchased U2718Q and currently waiting for delivery. While waiting for it I started reading and got to this post. I'm currently using Mac, should I be worried about,
"Dell never tested/validated the U2718Q on the Apple proprietary hardware"?
In case it comes with older firmware, should I connect it to a Windows machine, do the upgrade and then connect it to my Mac?

As I showed on the older thread, there is no Apple support or Apple operating system drivers, so there should be some concern there. You should go to the Apple Forum. Search for U2718Q and see what other Apple users are saying. If your U2718Q was built after January 19, 2018, it should already have the latest firmware. So check the rear label for the build date before doing anything else.
