U2718Q, OSD, Buttons
I just purchased a Dell U2718Q (manufactured October 2018) and I am running into a lot of issues using the mDP port. Basically sometimes it gets detected by a windows based computer but there is nothing on the screen, and sometimes it is not detected at all (which is the case with my Mac computer).
In another instance the DisplayPort works fine until the system goes to sleep, and when I wake up the computer the display says that nothing is detected on the DisplayPort.
My biggest issue is the fact that there is no OSD ... was that taken out ? According to documentation the monitor should have an OSD but the only options that I have is selecting which input to use.
One more note, I only have 4 buttons + the power button unlike the 5 buttons + the power button as shown in every manual.

Click my name and private message me the monitor service tag number, 20 digit serial number, A0x revision number.
For the OSD to function, the U2718Q must be receiving a signal from the PC and you are in the Windows operating system. By the way, you must be troubleshooting this U2718Q on a Windows PC. Apple is not supported. All Apple questions should be directed to their Forum.
* What Windows PC model?
* What video card?
* What Windows operating system?
* Have you tested a DP to DP cable?
