U2719D, new, with probably stuck pixel
Hello,
A day ago just got a brand new Dell U2719D monitor from the local pc parts shop, sadly, with one stuck pixel in the middle of the screen, in the upper half. Did BID and took the following photos:

Sorry for the bad quality - had hard time capturing the pixel with my phones camera with in-door lighting only. I was wondering, if such issue is a warranty worthy and if I would have luck to get a new replacement or money back? It's the first monitor I bought (and kinda expensive one - went all in for the newest model for quality, or so I thought) and it's kinda sad that it's already a fail with such a issue, even tho "minor". Read some posts about Dell's premium panel warranty and free replacements with a new monitor within 30 days, so also just wondering if any extra conditions should be met to be able to use such service. Maybe also someone could explain if it's bright/dark and stuck/dead pixel? How would that fall under official Dell pixel policy?

Because you bought it from a local shop, the initial 30 day period started when they bought it from Dell, not you from them. So you may not be able to get a new exchange. The exchange may be refurbished. But I cannot know for sure until you click my name and private message me the monitor service tag number and 20 digit serial number.
Bright pixel defect =
* Change the windows desktop background to all black
* If you see a stuck pixel that is white, red, green, or blue, that means it is a Bright pixel defect
Dark pixel defect =
* Change the windows desktop background to all white
* If you see a pixel that is black or colored, it is called a Dark pixel defect

Sorry, cannot provide S/N anymore - went to warranty service, but I wasn't happy with my product anymore, so wanted a full refund and they told me they can only fix it, for refunds I should go back to the seller. I went back to the seller, and so the good old "blame the other side" game started, and he also told he can't do anything without a warranty service review and won't return the money. So just left the monitor there for them to figure out among themselves.
So ironic that still in 2019 you go buy a thing, it malfunctions and you can't some why instantly return it or exchange for a better one, which works properly. They said I'll have to wait now probably for a few weeks till they figure out with warranty. Best part is that I bought whole new pc parts and kinda now I can't even use my new pc till I don't get the monitor.
Is there something else can be done?
I'm very disappointed how it's still a common sense to sell something malfunctioning and making it a buyers fault.

After you had transferred the ownership of the U2719D service tag number from the local store to yourself, Dell could then issue a like for like refurbished/used exchange. But this has not been done and now the local store has the monitor. You now have to deal with the local shop and their policies. They should simply give you a like for like exchange.

Understood, thanks for the information! Will try to figure it out with local store then.
There was also an issue with power connector, heard shorting noises when moved panel sideways (couldn't check if it's only the cable or whole connection fault), that's another reason why I'm deeply disappointed with the local seller. So much trouble with a new item and they are trying to avoid refund. If not that, maybe could live up with one stuck pixel instead of trying to get a clean refurbished (also heard many sad stories).
I can't say dell monitors are worse than others, but for the price premium needed to pay for, let's say, comparing to samsung, I have expected to have zero issues with pixels, at least on brand new item. There should be possible to choose something like extra warranty for zero pixel defects (maybe even for extra price or for special models). That would be a nice feature to have for users who want to get guaranteed quality, instead of lottery (even worse than silicon one).
