U2719D, screen tearing and ghosting
Hi,
I've recently bought a new computer that has a MSI GTX 1660 Ti OC as a graphics card.
When playing a game, the screen tearing is awful, I've even fixed the frame rate of the same game to 60 fps to no avail. I've tried connecting the monitor with both HDMI and DP and the results are the same.
I've researched online about it. And also in this forum, and I the recommendation was to set the response time of the monitor to "fast" instead of "normal". When I did that, I observed tremendous ghosting, moving windows on the desktop was horrible, they would leave some sort of trail behind them, and watching videos was nearly impossible.
My OS is windows 10 and I'm using the latest nvidia drivers, for which the version is 440.97.
Changing the response time to "fast" should not have this effects on the screen rendering, right? And supposedly, should improve screen tearing issues?
Thank you.
