U2720Q, USB downstream ports when using HDMI cable
I want to use the USB downstream ports on the side of the U2720Q for charging my electronics, but it looks like they don't work when the monitor is connected using HDMI cable (not USB-C). Is this in the spec? I cannot find it in the user's manual...

Connect the provided USB Type-C (C to A) 1.8 M cable from the U2720Q USB Type-C connector to the PC USB-A port. Then test the four USB-A downstream ports.

@arsen If you want to use the USB ports while using the HDMI video input, you simply need a USB cable in addition to the HDMI cable. The display should have come with the appropriate USB cable for this purpose. USB-C can carry video and USB data over a single cable, but that doesn't mean it's the only way to use the USB ports on the display.
