U2722D, cannot charge Latitude 5350

I recently got a Dell U2722D monitor and tried to charge my Dell Latitude 5350 laptop using a USB-C cable. However, I keep seeing a "Slow Charger" notice that says:

"Slow charger: Power adapter wattage is insufficient for normal operation. Attach a supported power adapter with at least 27 watts."

Is there anything I can do to resolve this, or is the monitor incompatible to charge my laptop?

That is correct.  The U2722D is not a thunderbolt monitor and its USB-C port can deliver up to 15w, not enough to charge your laptop.

Consider to connect the laptop power adapter for charging.

@Chino de OroThanks for the info! I just wonder why they promote it as if the monitor can charge a laptop, when it can’t even charge a Dell laptop.

Clarification.

The U2722DE sales site Ports stated =

The U2722D sales site Ports did not state USB-C upstream/power up to 90W. It stated USB-C downstream power up to 15W =
