U2722DE, USB-A ports
Hello!
Yesterday I got this monitor U2722DE. KVM and daisy chaining is working perfectly. But I am having problems with USB-A ports.
While asking questions, I will reference the monitor manual for port numbers. Pages 13 and 14.
The first laptop is connected with DP 1.4 cable (into port 4), second laptop is connected with USB-C cable (into port 5).
Daisy chaining purposes - connected DP to DP cable (port 6, DP out).
USB ports purposes: From the first laptop I connected USB-A (from the laptop) to USB-C in the monitor. (port 7, USB upstream port). But it doesn't help.
Am I doing something wrong?
PS: Both laptops are connected to their own chargers, if that even matters.
Installed all drivers (from here), except firmware.

I am confused. You only list one monitor and two laptops. So there is no dual monitor daisy chaining involved? So you should not be using #6 DP out port.
PC #1 DP out port --> DP to DP cable --> U2722DE #4 DP in port
PC #1 USB-A port --> USB-A to USB-C cable --> U2722DE #7 USB-C upstream port
PC #2 USB-C out port --> USB-C to USB-C cable --> U2722DE #5 USB-C port (Video + Data)

I technically connected as you wrote:

Hmm. Is there anything other to check out? Also, USB-A ports on the monitor work when 2. pc is not connected (with USB-C, port5). I did somewhere read that 2. pc (one using USB-C should be powered - but it doesn't help.
Is there any setting on the monitor that causes this behavior?
