U2723QE, macOS 13 Ventura, DDPM command line?
Hi all,
Is there any way to control the DDPM (Dell Display and Peripheral Manager) via command line using macOS 13 Ventura on Apple silicon M1?
I would like to set the brightness using shell scripts but I couldn't' find a way to make it works.
Thanks,
Antonio.

Hello Antonio,
Yes, it is possible to control the Dell Display and Peripheral Manager (DDPM) via command line using macOS 13 Ventura on Apple Silicon M1. You can use the 'ddpmcli' command line tool to control various settings, including brightness, contrast, and color temperature.
To set the brightness of your Dell display using shell scripts, you can use the following command:
Replace '' with a number between 0 and 100 to set the brightness level as a percentage. For example, to set the brightness to 50%, you would use the following command:
You can also use the 'ddpmcli get_brightness' command to retrieve the current brightness level.
Note that the 'ddpmcli' command line tool is only available for macOS systems running version 10.13 or later, and requires that the DDPM software is installed and running on your system.
I hope this helps!

Hello vishvajitd
thank for the feedback but I'm not able to find the ddpmcli command.
DDPM software is installed and running on MacOS Ventura.
Any suggestion?
