U2723QE, slow to wake?
My U2723QE (Rev A02) is slow to turn back on after it powers down due to idleness. It takes about 5 full seconds whereas my old Ultrasharp took 1. My desktop PC never hibernates, I am talking strictly about Window's "Power monitor off after 5 minutes" feature. I am not charging any USB devices and in fact don't have the USB hub connected at all at the moment.

I changed from HDMI to DisplayPort and now it wakes much faster - about a second.

One possible reason for the slow wake-up time of your U2723QE monitor could be related to the power management settings of your graphics card or operating system. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Power Management Settings: Go to the Power Options in the Control Panel and make sure the "Turn off the display" option is set to a reasonable time period (e.g. 5 or 10 minutes). Also, check the "Advanced power settings" and ensure that the "PCI Express" and "Link State Power Management" options are set to "Off" or "Maximum Performance".
Update Graphics Card Drivers: Make sure that you have the latest graphics card drivers installed. You can check for updates on the manufacturer's website or through the device manager.
Disable Panel Self-Refresh (PSR): The U2723QE supports a feature called Panel Self-Refresh (PSR) which can cause a delay when the monitor wakes up. You can try disabling this feature by going to the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) menu and navigating to "Display Settings" > "Monitor Settings" > "PSR" and setting it to "Off".
Disable Fast Startup: If you are using Windows 10, try disabling the Fast Startup feature. This can be done in the Power Options in the Control Panel by clicking "Choose what the power buttons do" > "Change settings that are currently unavailable" > "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" and unchecking the box.
If none of the above steps solve the issue, you may want to consider contacting Lenovo technical support for further assistance.
