U2725QE, KVM two computers, sleep wake issues

Recently bought the  Dell U2725QE with the built in KVM to connect a laptop (Thunderbolt) and a Desktop PC (DP and USB). I have also have a second Dell 4k monitor connected via the DP port. The setup works well until either PC goes to sleep (or even if Windows puts the 'screen' to sleep). Then after wake up it is painful and can take 5 minuites to return back to normal. During this 5 minute delay both the keyboard and mouse act erratically and the  second screen only wakes up after until a long delay. Would like to see a fix for this, as unless I disable any sleep settings it makes it close to unsuable (certainly not smooth).
