U3419W, USB-C plugged message appears

I have exactly the same problem with a different monitor model, U3419W.

Other 2 reports:

U3818DW, USB-C plugged message appears

U4919DW, USB-C plugged message appears

This seems to be a common problem for all monitors with USBC and KVM switch. I'm already running latest firmware M3B114.

I'm connecting:

DP: Windows

HDMI: Mac

USBC: iPad

When using DP or HDMI and having USBC plugged-in, this problem occurs.

It happens only after iPad is fully recharged. I guess iPad disconnect USBC when charge is finished and the screen is not current active.

This is very annoying.

To receive assistance from Dell support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Click the "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them the private Service Tag and all of your troubleshooting.

* Open the U3419W Menu
* Go to Input Source
* Change Auto Select to Off
* Go to USB Selection. Make sure these are the selections =
DP > USB 1
HDMI 1 > USB 2
HDMI 2 > USB 2
* Exit the Menu and retest
