U3423WE, two PC desktops, setup?
I have a DELL U3423WE. I wish to connect my Inspiron 3020 (only USB type A) and a 10yr old Dell Desktop (only USB type A). The wiring schematics in the manual showing connections for 2 computers all show one computer with a USB type C. I assume its OK to use a type A to type C connection for each computer but would appreciate confirmation before I do this.
Also I think I have read somewhere in the manual to only use DELL cables. I assume this is only required if you are exploiting the 90W capability and that any good quality cable will be OK for data only requirements

What video out ports are on the second 10 year Dell desktop?
The Inspiron 3020 has onboard HDMI video out and DP video out ports. It might also have an added video card but you did not specify.
