U3818DW, single computer, 2nd USB upstream port usage?
On my U3818DW, I connect my Mac Mini only using USB1 and USB Upstream. I would like to use the second USB upstream port for general purposes (connect an external hard drive/keyboard or printer) because all the other USB connections are in use. I can't get anything to work. Is it dead to me?

There is not a way to connect USB downstream devices directly to the two USB upstream ports. The two USB upstream ports only give your PC access to the four USB downstream ports. Even a stand alone USB hub would have to connect to one of the four USB downstream ports. So in a single PC setup, the second USB upstream port could not be used.
