The DDM team has already stated to Dell that DDM will not be supported on iMac and Mac mini.
Pinned post, "FAQ Dell monitor and Apple"
* DDM is not supported on any iMac and Mac mini
* DDM is supported on MacBook Pro launched from 2018 onwards
* DDM is supported on MacBook Air launched from 2018 onwards
* DDM is supported on Mac Pro launched from 2019 onwards

You failed to specify if DDM for macOS was not working on both the MacBook Pro and the iMac?
But I can tell you that DDM for macOS is not supported on any of the iMacs.

Yup thanks, only failed for iMac. Macbook Pro is able to install fine.
Please up raise a request to fix iMac's. Pretty sure, the OS doesn't differ much, and there's no reason why it won't be supported for iMacs.
Thanks

Maybe my solution will help you. For me, the problem was that with the internal docking station in this monitor the connection was torn off, then often my mouse or camera was simply off!

m4rcw0lf,
You had a different issue. User resting could get DDM to work on the supported MacBook Pro. The iMac is not supported.
